What is the Spaceport America Cup?

The Spaceport America Cup is an annual international competition that features collegiate rocketry teams from across the globe. Founded in 2017, the competition is designed around IREC regulations. Teams try to target altitudes of 10,000 and 30,000 feet using their own solid, liquid, and hybrid rockets. Awards are given in different categories, including technical awards, payload challenges, and team conduct awards.

2022 - 2023 Season

For the 2022 - 2023 season, LRA is building the Polaris III rocket in order to compete in the 30K COTS division at the 2023 Spaceport America Cup.
